To Recycle or Not?

I’ve been trying to weigh the merits of WordPress, Tumblr, and good old fashion Facebook and whether I should concentrate on one or contribute to all of them.  Currently, I post in Facebook and elaborate and/or modify my thoughts on the others.  Granted, I could post in one and just repost to the other two verbatim, but what would actually be the point of recycling words?  The advantage would clearly be to widen my net and possibly draw a larger audience; which is nice, but that’s not a major goal for me at this time.  I’ll have to think some more about this…
